Our Coffee Bar
Higher Grounds’ roastery and coffee bar are located at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, currently the nation’s largest historic restoration project, on the sprawling campus of the former Northern Michigan Asylum in Traverse City. Come visit us Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Want to learn more? Attend one of our free roastery tours and coffee cuppings, where you can meet our roasters and sample our coffees. The tours are free, open to the public, and take place every Friday beginning at 2 p.m. sharp.
